2 Chainz Discusses Grammy Nomination and New LP with DJ Drama (Interview)

2 Chainz reached out to DJ Drama’s radio show to discuss his Grammy nomination for “Best Rap Album” B.O.A.T.S. as well as the progress for his upcoming LP. The gracious rapper also explained how lucky he was to work with Drake for “No Lie” and Kanye West’s “Mercy”.
“I definitely texted the big homie [Kanye West], I told ‘Ye that I appreciated him giving me the opportunity to get on ‘Mercy,’ because that song was huge for me. And the homie Drake, me and him collaborated on ‘No Lie,that’s already platinum. It’s a few people I feel assisted my campaign that I wanted to tell I appreciate on the way up.”
